The new Metravi AC-4 Non-contact Voltage Detector is designed to detect the presence of AC voltage in wires, cables, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. It does this without requiring physical contact with the conductor or exposed wires, which enhances safety during testing.

When brought close to an energised conductor or terminal, the detector senses the electromagnetic field generated by the AC voltage, triggering an audible and visual indicators to alert the user of voltage presence.

The Metravi AC-2 Non-contact Voltage Detector allows electricians, technicians, and homeowners to quickly determine if a circuit or device is live without having to touch potentially hazardous wires and by allowing users to identify live circuits or components from a distance. This minimises the risk of electric shock or injury that could occur if testing were conducted using traditional contact methods.
